Following the success of his first book, Everyone Must Be Announced (2012), which depicted live performances by iconic musicians, photographer Aaron Stern released his second major publication and deeply personal monograph, I Woke Up In My Clothes, this spring. Sternâs work has been exhibited extensively at the International Center of Photography, Milk Gallery, Paris Photo, and Chateau Marmont, among other venues. Also known for his photographic collaborations with Dazed & Confused, The New York Timesâ T Magazine, and LâOfficiel Hommes, Sternâs images often portray âa feeling of emptiness and void, loss, and, at other times, [feelings] of love and all different types of relationships.â Stern is based in both Los Angeles and New York.
