Jeanette Hayes is an NYC-based painter and multimedia artist with a BFA from Pratt Institute. Her work addresses the traditional preservation of non-traditional technological imagery through painting, video, animated GIFs, Photoshop, and Internet collages. Hayes has a proclivity for cultural phenomena and the confrontation of conventionality and subject matter. She has shown with Half Gallery, the Hole, Bleecker Street Arts Club, M&B Gallery, and Motelsalieri. Hayes has also worked with Proenza Schouler, CHANEL and Opening Ceremony, and BlackBerry. She was named 30 Under 30 by i-D Magazine and An Artist to Watch by Complex Magazine. The New York Times featured her in their first Up Next column.
