Juliane Foronda is a Filipina-Canadian artist and organizer whose work deals with support structures within our public and private lives. Her practice exists within the parallels between space (environment) and emotion (feeling). Working predominantly though sculpture, object, intervention and text, her work references architecture, built environments, furniture, hospitality, care and intimacy, often attempting to better understand their limits and absurdities.
Juliane received her MA in Fine Arts from Listaháskóli ÃÂslands/Iceland University of the Arts, ReykjavÃÂk in 2018, and her BA in Studio Art from the University of Guelph, Canada in 2013.
