Lowell Boyers was recently included in the group show "Hotter Than July" with Betty Tompkins this summer. He has exhibited at Bitforms Gallery and Von Lintel Gallery in New York City, Deborah Colton Gallery in Houston, Panorama Art Space in Cologne, Germany, and half gallery. He is prominently featured in the collection of Andy Spade. Marked by courageous bursts of color, Boyer's paintings are amalgamations of form, which combine figures and flora into manipulated chaos. Lowell Boyers received his BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and his MFA from Yale University. He was born in Queens, NY and currently lives and works in New York City.
