Los Angeles-based Emmanuel Sfez, better known as Midnight Marauder, is a graphic designer and illustrator who co-founded the design firm Alphaville, which specializes in movie posters. He has designed one-sheets for Terrence Malickâs A Hidden Life, Edo Bertoglioâs Downtown 81, Brett Storyâs The Hottest August, and Joanna Hoggâs The Souvenir, among others. The artist studied at Hourdé Supérieure Arts et Techniques in Paris and at UCLA before starting work as a graphic designer in the fashion business.
