I wanted to capture Joan Jettâs beauty and wildness in my limited edition silkscreened poster: hand-printed in seven colors, including hand-mixed metallic gold and silver, and translucent glazes.
In my poster design, Joan Jett has got you locked in her gaze; her stance is rebellious and slightly off-center against a glittering gold graffiti background. Joan is beautiful because she rocks and sheâs the real deal. Her truth shines through as dazzling beauty. Joan is dark, Sheâs mysterious, wherever you think youâve been to the edge, Joanâs been there before you, and she has written a rocking, true and beautiful song about it. Thatâs why I love her and her music.â
