The first piece is Delort's personal interpretation of Johann Sebastian Bach's ââ¬ÅGoldberg Variationsââ¬Â. Story has it that Bach composed the Variations at the behest of one Count Kaiserling, who suffered terrible insomnia. The Count's assistant, Mr. Goldberg, was to play the Variations to help him fall asleep. And so, night after night, the Count would request Goldberg to play the Variations which, over time, came to be known as the Goldberg Variations. Comes with signed COA
