The social, political, and economic aspects inextricably linked to the plight of the African Elephant, fighting for its survival, are subtly alluded to by the use of black scale lines and bright dots, simulating a butterfly's process of metamorphosis. English's technique and use of vibrant color create an alluring multidimensional print.
