1967 The same screenprinted image, unsigned, unnumbered, and trimmed so that both image and sheet measure 8 x 10 7/8 (20.3 x 27.6), was found in the National Gallery of Art vertical files. The verso of this impression is inscribed in an unknown hand: [Roy Lichtenstein / opening Oct. 28, 1967 / at / Leo Castelli / 4 E. 77 NYC 10021] in blue ballpoint ink, upper left corner, suggesting that the same image was used as an announcement for the exhibition Roy Lichtenstein: Painting and Sculpture, at the Leo Castelli Gallery, October 28 November 18, 1967
