We stayed close to home this year in selecting beloved Chicago artist Tony Fitzpatrick to design this yearââ¬â¢s commemorative poster. Tony put his superior collage skills to work in crafting a fantastical design that captures the cityââ¬â¢s beauty, mystery and a little bit of darkness that is rock ââ¬Ënââ¬â¢ roll. Each element is carefully selected from Tonyââ¬â¢s treasury of found images and painstakingly cut out and applied to become a gorgeous mashup of Chicago artifacts from storied ginjoints and music clubs, the CTA, historical images and more. Weââ¬â¢ve reproduced the art in two very special editions. As with all of our posters, we only print one run and once sold out will not be re-issued. Each print will also include additional embellishments hand-applied by the artist to make it a truly one-of-a-kind memento. This version does not include the band lineup. Printed in a numbered edition of 250 that is also signed by both Tony Fitzpatrick and Lollapalooza/Janeââ¬â¢s Addiction founder Perry Farrell. Tony numbered each poster and applied a hand-designed stamp as his signature.
