David Ellis is a NYC based painter, filmmaker, and installation artist who lives and works in Brooklyn NY. Since gaining recognition as the founder of The Barnstormers in 1999, David has gone on to produce a large body of solo works remixing a variety of cultures into his compositions. He incorporates many mediums into his work including everything from paper, to the sides of trucks, to large scale sound assemblages.
