Gerald Leslie Brockhurst (31 October 1890 ââ¬â 4 May 1978) was a British painter and etcher. During the 1930s and 1940s, he was celebrated as a portraitist, painting society figures such as Marlene Dietrich and the Duchess of Windsor. Today he is best known for his small etched prints of beautiful, idealized women ââ¬â many of them modeled by his first and second wives.
