Mar (1974) is a Portuguese graffiti and visual artist with a degree in Fashion Design whose imaginative visual universe is ruled by a pantheon of fascinating, larger-than-life stylised figures presenting a blend of contemporary pop culture and classical mythology. Recent years have seen his dynamic large-scale productions, expressing a wealth of emotions and realities, adorn buildings around Portugal and other countries. A member of the ARM collective, he has been presenting his work in both solo and collective shows since 2004.
