"I am originally from Perrysburg, Ohio. I studied art and ballet seriously through high school and I received my BFA in drawing from Bowling Green State University in 1999. I moved up to the Detroit area in 2000 and I received my MFA from Eastern Michigan in 2005. Since then I have been a resident at the Vermont Studio Center twice, and I continue to make and show drawings locally and nationally." - Mary Williams
