Thomas Canto (aka Dense) started in 1995 as a graffiti artist and has expanded into a variety of domains such as graphic painting, calligraphy, body painting and light painting. The common themes of his art are the movement and the structure, a duality he explores through figurative portrays and geometric abstract compositions.
Thomas Canto (b. 1979) lives and works in Lyon. He is an active pioneer of urban art. He is the curator of an urban art gallery in Lyon and part of several street art and light painting collectives. His work has been exhibited at the Palais de Tokyo and auctioned at Artcurial in Paris. He is represented by art galleries in New York, Paris, London, and Singapore.
