But much more than that with 'Eruption' my way of working is changing tremendously since it is the first motive that I didn't realize on canvas but on an aludibond-honeycomb panel. The new material of course also is the beginning of a whole new series of works and in 'Eruption' I really wanted to focus on the details. Because of that I wanted to fragment my writers name DAIM and deconstruct the letters itself again. It is 'erupting', bursting into and from a bright colour pallete. The new working process and singular motive paired with the for me unusual colours make this edition unique in various ways.' - Daim
