Born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, artist RAE utilizes found objects, scraps of metals and vibrant colors to construct his make-shift characters and story-lines of life from a working class perspective. One line drawings, elongated figures and surfaces full of texture and reflective gold are often prevalent in his work. His mixed media work can also incorporate stencil, screen-print and etching techniques. His work can be found on the streets of NYC and beyond often affixed to city structures and at times give the appearance they were sanctioned by a governing body.
